My 35 F-12 doesn"t appear to twist, at least it if does it is so little I never noticed it or seen any wear at the mounting points for hood or radiator. Just a thought here, but are the brakes working right and adjusted right? On those the brakes work when turning, kind of a primitive power steering assist. If they aren"t working right, it may put stress on the frontend especially on sharp turns. There are rods that go from arms uner the front end that acuate the brakes. Make sure those are free and or even there.They sometimes wear out on the ends also.
