Sam: The 354898 R1 block will take 3-1/4" bore sleeves and pistons without modification. 251069 R1 is the factory block used in Farmall C and in Super A proir to serial number 310300. I believe the last one will only take 3-1/8" bore.
If I'm wrong Stan VA will soon correct me, that is unless he's to busy boring that 354898 R1 block out to 5" for me. I want him to paint it John Deere green, he seems rather reluctant to paint it that color.
