Did International make a Super MTA all-fuel tractor? I bought a SMTA recently. I assumed it was just a gas burner, but it has a little fuel tank in addition to the big one. The little tank looks original as it is similar to the one on my W-9 and the hole in the hood for the fill neck and cap is perfect. The hole is not cut out by hand or anything like that.
Would the head number tell me? Could it have been a diesel that was converted over to gas? The line running out of the little tank goes into the main fuel line right under the big tank. Would it tell on the serial plate? I thought that they would have gotten away from this configuration by 1954. This is my first Farmall (only have the W-9) so I don't know much. Any help would be fantastic. Thank you.
