In the winter time, three or four times a week, different people will post ads describing their cold house and freezing young family. They are requesting free oil or firewood. I just have to wonder what they were doing last summer. It was probably too hot to collect wood.
The people who give away the fuel are not being charitable. They just want it to disappear and at no cost to them.
The free section of Craigslist is amazing. It's kinda like Alice's Resturant. "You can get anything you want". Patience pays though.
