I may be completely crazy here but isnt kerosene distalate?Seems like I remeber some time back that this topic came up.A chemical enginner postd and said that is was the same thing.I dont remember now.Anyway Mike,burrhead is right.you dont wont to be burning that stuff at shows and parades anyway.It does stink to high heaven.Keep the gas and put the parts on.theyll work just fine.Oh and the handcranking is a good idea too.youll apprreciate the starter a lot more
