I just got off the phone with the seller...
According to him, he's owned the tractor a while. Paint is practically non-existant...surface rust has an IH-red tint to it, but there's very little paint to speak of. Sheetmetal is near flawless...couple dings in the grill, but thats to be expected, I suppose. Brakes, rubber and clutch are in good shape. All the time he's owned it, it's been stored in his garage. The mower is a belly-mount, likely Woods (though he didn't know for sure), and he says it works beautifully. He's never used the plows, but they're rear-mount, and theres two of them...one plows while the other is raised, and the reverse is true when plowing in the other direction. A friend has a set like that on his Super-A, and i've plowed with them, so I know the theory is good. The guy who wants this tractor will have little use for plows anyway, so they'd likely end up on the auction block.
He seems fairly firm with his asking price, though. The fact the tractor is close is of some consideration in the price...I'd be looking at less than $100 to get it here, as opposed to a tractor from a greater distance.
