I took the head for my m to be pressure checked, it failed and needed to be welded. I didnt take out the brass fitting on it because i figured it would be good and just need a head gasket. Here my prob, i dont know for certain where they all go. I have the 90 that goes to the govenor, the two for the oil line that runs over the rocker and the one for the breather. One of the brass nipples only has about an eigth inch hole thru it, is the right one for the breather??
Also my head (1949)has four 1/2" holes drilled and tapped in the back side of it, all dead end. I looked at a 1940 that we're storing for the FFA and it does not have those holes. Just wondering what they were for??
