Hey... Thanks gots-to-go: The top picture with the longer lineup is in front of the storage sheds. (4 sheds if my memory is right) Each shed looks like maybe 60X120 and is packed with tractors. So close there is no walking room in places. In the other outside lineup on grass, notice most of the front wheels have settle into the ground enough to indicate parked there quite a while. Many other smaller groups of tractors parked in various places around the farm yard besides those packed in the red buildings. Gotta be well over 300 now. Mostly red IHC. I tried taking pictures inside while standing on top of a rear tractor tire but can't find those since the harddrive problem.. agpilot

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
