The British BM had a 3pt linkage available from about 1950. It use the belly hydrailic pump with a cylinder on each side of the transmission case with levers pivoting on the base of the belly pump to operate the rear arms. The later Super BM, BMD and Super BW-6 etc tractors (mid 1950s) used an engine pump to operate a hydraulic cylinder on the rear of the transmission to operate a hydraulic drawbar which also operated the 3 point lift. The Australian AOS-6 (like a later W-6 with the M type frames sides (early 1950s) used a Farmall M type belly pump to power a hydraulic cylinder under the transmission cover between the bull gears to power a rockshaft at the rear of the transmission cover to operate the 3 pt lift arms. (all of cylinder was out of sight, only the hoses connecting to the cover were visible. Used a standard M type hydraulic push-pull rod to operate system.
