I have a few questions about widefronts that they put on the 560, 656 and etc.
-I was wondering if the Schwartz and the Noorden when pretty similar as for as the axle tube goes. I have a Noorden on my 656 and I do not like how they have the spindle shafts setup for the steering arm to attach to them. On mine they used a key style shaft and arm. On the Schwartz that i have seen they use a spline shaft and arm (which would be alot stronger in my opinion). Thus being said, I was wondering if I could take a Schwartz spindle shaft with the splines and the splined steering arm and put it on my Noorden, look to be around the same size tube from seeing pictures.
-I was also wondering about the stock IH wide front axles compared to the Schwartz. They both use a splined spindle shaft and steering arm. I was wondering if the size of the 2 is the same, again they look pretty close to being the same in pictures, other then the Schwartz steering arm seems to be a little different in shape.
-With all this being said, I want to switch my Noorden spindle shaft and steering arm with either Schwartz or stock IH ones. Mine are getting sloppy because of poor design using just using a half moon key for the steering arm and shaft.....

Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
