This April 26, 2008 event is sponsored by the Montour Antique Farm Machinery Collectors Association with the help of students from the Danville FFA Chapter. Pulling classes range from 2,500 to 18,000 pounds with various divisions including pace and non-pace classes. Hook fees are $5 per hook, and a $5 MAFMCA membership is required to pull. Weigh-in begins at 10:00, and the pull starts at 11:00. Half of the proceeds from the tractor pull will go to the Danville FFA Chapter.
Rules are available at: http://mafmca.com/db3/00278/mafmca.com/_download/PullingRules2008season.doc New safety rules have been added for the 2008 season for tractors running over 20% on RPMs and will be implemented at this pull. I'm posting this early so that you can save the date if you're interested in attending.
From Interstate 80 exit 215 in Pennsylvania, this pull is only about 7 miles east on Route 254.
