How is your 140 equipped? Standard U drawbar, one point fast hitch or an aftermarket three point hitch? Do you have any implements, and if so which one's? I ask these questions as the hitch and implemenets truly make the tractor what it is. There were a dozen or more factory mounted implements for these tractors; 3 different moldboard plows, a disk plow, two different disk harrows, row crop cultivators with many variations of ground working tools, side dressing fertilizer equipment, a grader and snow blade that would mid mount or mount out front, front end loader, sickle rear or side mount, finish mowers, many variations of planters, etc. Since the tractors were built there have been as many more implements and attachments built by after market, local machine shops and farmers.
All but the A had hydraulics and since that time most implements or attachments will interchange, between SA, SA1, 100, 130 and 140. If your out shopping for implements or attachments and you see one that fits any of these it will fit your 140, providing you get it all. I say that as some owners seem to believe one certain part of an implement has become part of the tractor as he uses it for some other implement he built. Got to watch that one.
