You may have detergent oil or detergent residue in the system. It could be a bit overfilled too or: If you are using the original two way remote or "christmas tree" make sure that you have the reservoir filler cap with the small brass valve on the top. It is common for the original vented cap to overflow or for oil to vent through the res. filler cap valve if it is left open while using the two way. Or you could just cap the filler off with a 3/4" pipe cap. Our '50 M has M&W distributor pump and uses the lift all pump res. It is plumbed into a two spool after market valve bank for the 3pt and a remote under the seat. It returns oil to a Tee plumbed into the bottom of the belly pump. It has never overflowed the vented cap. Our '46 has an IH two way remote plumbed to the the original belly pump. When we use the two way we have to insure that the small valve on the filler cap is in the closed position or it overflows. HTH Don
