Charles: It was very rare to see a ROPS in 1963. I doubt if you will find a new one, however the ROPS from any 504, 656, 666, 686 or 544 will fit.
ROPS becomes a very expensive article for any manufacturer to build. They probably have to double the price just to cover their own liability should the device fail. Unless they see huge volume, which would narurally reduce the chance of a liability claim, they will not get very excited about this trade. Each ROPS has to be engineered to suit the type of tractor chassis. Lets face it 40+ year old tractors are never going to give them volume.
