Was this loader installed on the tractor before? If so, you probably didn't relieve the hydraulic pressure before you unhooked the hoses. The lines will not hook up under pressure.
Try resting the bucket on the ground to relieve the pressure.
You can try jacking up the bucket by the lip, or lifting the loader and setting a large block under the bucket's lip to relieve the pressure.
As a last resort, you can loosen the coupler and relieve the pressure, but be warned that hydraulic oil can spray out at very high pressure. Wear eye protection.
New loader? You probably have the wrong couplers. There are several different types out there.
