Have a 364 with a BD-154 diesel thats leaking around the water pump shaft. Guess I should not have replaced the thermostat and had the radiator repaired.Thermostat was missing and the radiator was leaking like a sieve. Has anybody has rebuilt their water pump using a kit vs just replacing the entire pump asm.? If you have rebuilt the pump anything special I should pay attention to while rebuilding. The pump asm. is considerable more expensive but if its the better way to go, I"ll replace it.
Any advise or opinions would be greatly appreciated ...... Thanks Cirrus
