A steerable plow suggests a side hill plow. A tow behind suggests a trailer plow. I am only aware of a mounted plow for the Cub. It was offered as a single plow turning soil to the right or two plows for left and right.
Anyway, the pulling point is from the stock drawbar which is inverted so that it is positioned under the operator's platform. The front of the plow is allowed to "float" to control depth. The picture shows the "depth controller". You also need the rockshaft to lift the entire plow. With the two way setup, you need a complicated latching mechanism so that only one plow is lowered at a time.
The Cub site should have all the parts illustrated. This hardware shows up on eBay from time to time.
