Hello, I need help ! The tractor was just passed down to me and it ran great in the summer of 07 then the starter went , had it rebuilt now I have no spark. the tractor had been converted to cap and rotor with 12 volt coil with external resistor, I replaced all parts still no luck including ballist resistor Im not even sure of the year. serial # 116641 and posssible model number 355986r1 I think (hard to read) any help would be great my grandfather ment the world to me. By the way dont let the name mikeee fool ya Im 36 years old and (pretty) good with motors. oh and I have checked all electrical lines all tested good.I purchased a cheap coil and wonder if I have enough voltage ? thanks for any help and links to get her running again. all family that knew about the tractor has since passed away. The tactor was originally purchased new by my grandfather and was used on the farm.
