I used a 3 way puller that hooked under the wheel. About $10 to $12 at O'reillys. The bolt holes in my wheel where already full of sheared off bolts. Tightened up the puller as much as I could and left it that way. Used plenty of wd40 and still no luck. Got out the torch and within 15 seconds or so, (it didn't take much), the wheel popped loose. Even a propane or mapp torch will apply heat if you don't have oxy/acet. Keep the nut started a few turns on the shaft to keep the steering wheel out of your lap when it pops loose. It is on a tapered shaft.
