I have a 560 with a front end loader. I set the brakes, tip the bucket down, and raise the front end about 12 inches off the ground. Then I block the rear wheels both ways and shut it off in 1st. I also block the tractor up under the frame.
Disconnect the inside tie rod ends from the steering arm, and leave the arm in place if it matches that for the Schwartz, and it should. If not, you'll be changing the arm later. There are 6 bolts holding the front end on to the frame, 4 forward and two back, where the saddle would be on a Schwartz. Nordens are just straight plates. Loosen them, [ I assume your wheels are off the Norden] Get a floor jack under the midpoint of the front end, and remove the bolts. The back is heavy and will drop first, let it down first and get it out of the way. Lower the jack, swap the front ends on it and raise the new one into place and bolt it up. Don't forget the lock washers.
If the steering arm is different, you'll have to swap them out while the front end is off. It bolts up with 4 bolts where the narrow front pedestal bolts up. I've never found a way to get it back on after the axle is changed.
Connect the new tie rod ends and get them even. Put your wheels back on and make sure the stops keep you from turning the wheels more than about 50 degrees off of straight.
Let the tractor back down, snug it all up.
You will have better luck with your Schwartz. I bought what was supposed to be a Schwartz off a guy who posts ads on this site. I didn't make the trip to pick it up; my brother did. The seller painted out the plates and sent a Norden. I should have gone, but I didn't, so I didn't raise a stink. It's my fault for not going. But I suspect the seller's dishonesty will come back to get him sooner or later.
Don't junk your Norden. I will find spindles; I haven't been looking real hard, as I have been busy with other things, but I am getting caught up and I will get going on it. When I get results, I'll post them.
