Posted by chad504 on January 31, 2008 at 10:37:05 from (208.252.131.50):

Got a call about 11:00 last night from his wife, to tell me. She ask my wife and I to met her at Floyd Memorial Hospital. Seems he was driving home after class last night, on Grant Line Road, headed from IUS to Chapel Lane. Somewhere between on that stretch a van hydroplaned, and wind pushed the van across the center line. Chuck my friend reacted and tried to swerve to miss, and in the process was hit broadside.

We were told that there were two nurses right behind him that immediately started to work on him, but he did not have a pulse.

His wife is a manager at Texas Road House, and called us there, when the FCSD Chaplains spoke to her.

Please keep his wife (Wendy Ennis) in you prayers!

Sometime last week he joined this site, but I hadn"t gotten a chance to get his user id. We were supposed to build his first AK pistol the next warm Saturday.

RIP Chuck Ennis, You will be missed.

The tough part is going to be telling my children, they are our best friends, and my two boys loved them. My 8 year old is going to be devastated, he alway sat by Chuck, when we ate together.

He was an avid gun guy, and did more for people in our church, than anyone!

If anyone figures out a way to download that site, in it"s entirety. please let me know, I" really like to be able to get a complete copy preserved for his wife.

If anyone eats at the Clarksville, IN Texas Roadhouse, His wife was the manager there with the wild red hair. Anyone who has met her would remember her, I guarantee that! Just Wonderful people, both of them!
