I posted twice on here about my 45 H missing and spitting gas from the bottom of the carb. Wouldn't rev and had no power. First post I guessed it was a stuck valve. Responses indicated probably water in mag cap. Second post responses were more towards water in cap, vandalism?, and valve stuck. Today I pulled the spark plug wires, isolated the cylinder and then pulled the valve cover. One of the rocker arms had come completely off the push rod. Guess I need to adjust the valves. I pried it back on and it runs perfect. I'll adjust the valves when the weather warms up a bit.
