Paul: It has been long known part numbers ending in "DE" belong to the Farmall A and B era. Yes, I agree most of those parts will fit on later offsets, for instance that wheel, axle and bearing are the same size thus there is nothing to stop one from installing #6787 DE wheels on a Farmall 130.
Historically I'm betting IH never put a set of those wheels on a Super A after 1952, or any of 100 and 130, at least not at the factory. There were enough farmers across North America having had experience with 6787 DE wheels, anything would be an improvement.
No, I wasn't making fun of your 130 #6787 DE front wheels. I must say I was having a bit of a chuckle about your SA1 assembly line, especially that serial tag installed with soft steel rivits.
