The puller piece just lifts the top off while keeping the reverse shaft in the tractor. The angle iron piece is used to hold the detents and spring in place while lowering the cover back down. once you get it apart you can probably figure it out. It goes on the front left of the cover. the one notch inthe end goes against the detent arm and the other notch hooks on the dowel pin on the cover. Hope this helps.
