The hitch on your tractor is not stock to the tractor. The 300-350 were first IHFarmall with hydraulic hitches, and they were 2point Fast hitch systems. I assume from the fact that your hitch has two hoses, that it has a two way valve on it and that the rod control for the Liftall belly pump is held back (on) all the time. The lever controlling the hitch should have reversed its action Up becoming down, and down, up. This would be what is expected. IH placed valving at the cylinder to prevent extreme lowering speed on the factory hitches for safety. Your after market hitch would not have that unless someone put it in there (unlikely).
