We used a ring gear from a Farmall M, on our belt pulley, and bolted a 560D starter to a plate, which we bolted to the frame rail, after aligning it with the ring gear. Our 14" belt pulley required a spacer ring, to make the ring gear fit. It takes some fabrication, but we are well pleased with the results. Really spins the Farmall over. We put a 7 inch pulley between the trany and the clutch housing, and mounted an alternator to the frame rail, right above the starter, with a belt between the two. We made a battery tray and mounted it to the other frame rail. Used a large 12 volt battery.
