I believe it is longer because of the additional length due to the TA housing. Either that or the gas tank is longer, or both. SMD wheelbase is 90.75 inches, SMDTA is 99.75. Someone will have for sure answer. However, if the part numbers are the same, and have the SAME suffix, they are the same.
