The following is ment constructively, there comes a time to place antiques into the antique category. I suggest that if you are intent on using the pre 1939 vintage Farmalls, that the cash layout might be far less than the investment in more contemporary equipment, but is far less productive per man hour, and horse power/hour. The expense of the equipment should be balanced with effectiveness. Putting $2000 into a Farmall 300, or 350 would provide a massive increase in ease of use and utility value. I like the old units, but economics rules production. If none of this matters, then just buy the parts and be done with it. It has been mentioned on here many times, that it is a very rare tractor that can return the amount spent to make it right from dead. JimN
