I have what amounts to a "poll" type question for the listed tractor owners. The universal joints on my steering for my B BN and SC are pretty worn. CaseIH doesn't stock the replacement parts for them (caps and crosses). CaseIH has the H and M universals which can be used if you modify your steering rods. Joe's Farmalls and Rice equip stock the H and M ones.....no more of the originals.
I have been able to locate a close match universal, that with very minor machining, will be an exact replacement for the original 52977DAX universal.
If I can get this to work, is there anyone out there that would be interested in one or more of these? Was thinking about having a few made up, and would be happy to tag other people's needs along with mine. The more we have machined, the better the price.
