Today I fired up the old Farmall H and had the scoop on the back of it moving dirt/rocks from one pile to another. I backed up to the dirt the first time and it did fine and the second did just fine. When I backed up the third time I heard a really loud "crack" so I raised it immediately and noticed that one side raised and the other was still on the ground. I got the looking at the thing and it snapped the thing where the arm and the thing that the cylinder pushes on (looks like a toplink). I need the thing to raise a little higher anyways so I was seeing if I could buy a shorter toplink thingy that connects the arm and the thing that the cylinder pushes on to raise it. If I bought one shorter it seems to me that it would raise higher but not go quit as low. It goes low enough though. Well Thanks in advance!!! RC

This article will focus on what I encountered and what I did to bring the 1951 NEAR DEATH Farmall H back to life.
