I've been corresponding with a fellow in England who posted here afew weeks ago and is involved in restoring a '42 BN. (GerryBN was his handle.) In pictures back and forth, I noticed that his tractor had an International hood emblem.
I know that the hood decals varied according to where the tractors were shipped, but was of the mind that those hood emblems were put only on the Ws and the International As. Might that have varied, as well? Gerry has your Originality Guide (as do I), but this is one of those things that didn't come up in the appendices.
Would that International hood emblem have been original (for shipment overseas), or perhaps something done in expedience as part of an earlier rebuild/refurbish?
