This will only work to fill with the vapor bleed off line not hooked up or shut off, just the fill line hooked up. Sometimes they will fill to about 90% if this happens you can use the tractor right away and run a gallon or two out, the pressure won't build up that fast to cause any problems. Normally it doesn't take much to get it back to 80-85%. The worst thing that will happen will the pop off valve will release some of the pressure off the tank. The raw propane that is released is no more than when you bleed fill your tractor. I would not store the tractor in a barn until the tank is reduced to at least 85% then it will be safe to store inside. The only time that I had a problem was the tractor had set in the sun in the morning for an hour or so and the pop off was letting off some of the pressure before we started using the tractor.
