I have more problems with my front tires on my 300U sinking in than I do with the rears. I was moving a maple log using a boom pole, and backed over a soft spot, then set down the log, which transferred the weight back to the front and tried to pull forward. The front end sank in to the axle, about 6 inches of tire above the ground. If you put duals on the rear to get floatation, you'll probably have to put them on the front, too. ;o)
Your best bet would be to avoid the soft spots if you can.
