The allen head pipe plugs in the bottom of the casting look like they are cross drillings to all the valve bores. MAybe you could plug up the pressure regulator bore and blow the piston across your shop and under something heavy with a little compressed air.
BTW, if anyone needs the little screens (#53, same drawing), they only come in (5) packs. I have spares. $3.07 each plus $0.41 postage (more to Canada). Email is open.
