I'm fairly certain the ol' boys came up with this one years back but I had not seen it before. After fighting far too long with our brake lock levers I decided to try running a light duty eighth inch chain from the cross at the light bar/steering post to the back of the brake toggle lever. (Visulaize the chain on the older toilet valves between the handle lever and the flapper valve) It only took a couple of minutes to drill a small hole in the left aft part of the lever and wire both ends of the chain. I routed the chain to the left side of the belt pulley rod to keep it from interfering with brake pedal ops. It is really easy to just reach the chain on the light bar and set the lever. The good parts so far are 1. No cash outlay, 2. it works, 3. It stays out of the way 4. it involves only one new hole through the toggle and best of all, It saves more stress on my old back! Glad I harrowed the tumble weeds yesterday, its raining again today. Cheers Don
