After having bought and sold numerous items on eBay, I can assure you that the fees are NOT that bad. Assuming I could get $1500 for a tractor from YT and $2000 off eBay, I would still gross more $$ from eBay after the fees.
Also, auctioneers have started to charge admission and a buyer"s premium to get into a farm auction - and people still show up. Now that is completely ridiculous - it is up to the seller to pay the fees for selling items, not the buyer.
