I'm sure you are on the right track. If you turned it through at least one complete revolution while watching the valves, and only some of them have moved, the issue is cam drive. The gear can have a broken hub, the hub can have a sheared key, or the cam can be broken. Each of these can happen without having a load on the engine, and the distributor can still turn (apparent good ignition timing). Causes might include a piece of trash in the hydraulic pump jambing it just enough to shear an already worn key, A broken hub thet just hung on till time cought up with it, or a valve that stuck causing the force on a weakened drive to finally fail. If the above lack of motion through several rotations of the engine is correct, pulling the front cover is the next step. Best of luck, JimN
