why are you milling the heads? TO increase compression , head gasket problems or for the heck of it ? if it is to correct a gasket problem just take enough of to make it true. To increase compession I would talk to some pullers they seem to know the limits if your doing it for the heck of it leave it alone a nice flat head on a 45 year old slightly crooked block can bring other uninvited problems.
