Roger is right on the mark. Wish I'd known this two years ago when I bought a 2000 loader for my gas Farmall 656. It was on a 2424 and in excellent shape. Came with front pump, remote valves, and cost me $1700. The frame was too short; had to cut and add about 15 inches to the 4"x4" sub frames where they mount the rear axles; modify the brackets that bolt onto the engine side rails; fabricate a longer support for the control valves; and make new hoses. The loader frame rails are wide and act like a wall that directs engine heat (too much heat) back onto the driver. The loader comes off for the summer. We use the 656 for round baling but it's a tad under-powered for that chore. Rod
