the ft. pump on the MCV draws from the filter just like the rear pump and if you are having a problem prime then first try this . Run the engine at around 1800 RPM and turn the steering wheel to the leftand keep doing this for awhile as this will bleed off any air trapped in the system . If this does not solve the problem then your pump is getting real weak. I am coming into your problem on the back side so i do not know what all you have here . I know the 706 inside and out .
