You asked about the power of that 310 in my 706 and the post was buried by the time I got back. I pull 4x16s up and down hills without a bit of trouble drag a old 850 chainer around on the hills too and it handles it fine . Would like to upgrade that 850 but it refuses to give up ! The old gaser I had did`nt have near the power , I pulled 4x14s in the bottoms but not very fast . If you was packin fuel in cans ya needed to stop at the neighbors and borrow a few extra cans on the way to the station . That tractor never refused to start to get the chores done in the winter , wish I had kept it . The 310 makes the 706 into a tractor though .
