farmall H ( as well as most ih tractors built ) had carbs manufactured by International Harvester, zeniths, carters were used on A's & C's. i couldn't find your number 8212DB, but the lower half of H carb was 6212DB. the carb part number is on a round brass tag riveted to the throttle housing. 45108DD distilate, 50981DD gas. any IH (caseIH) dealer can get float and parts. the main fuel screw on bottom, 3 turns out, the ilde air screw 1 turn out
