We have the tractor in the shop now, the oil pan is off, there was water in the crankcase,which had probably frozen the oil pickup screen. The bearings are damaged, but crank looks OK. I know this tractor has a tendency to get water in the engine when sitting outside. I just did not think it had gotten into the crankcase.
Not so bad after all, looks like we will be fixing the gasser up.
