update: i have the tractor running again. before starting, i moved the control levers to the mid point in thier range of motion. started the tractor and left at idle. the oil turned to foam in about a minute without moving the levers. when i did move the levers, foam puked out the filler plug and the tractor engine choked way down. if things are out of adjustment, could someone email the adustment proceedure from the blue ribbon service manuel. the i & t i have doesnt explain it well enough. or is something else wrong? the touch control was just overhauled by the dealer.
