400 help

I'm getting ready to split my 400 to put in a new rear oil seal. I have a dolly bolted to the side rails so that I can roll it away from the blocked rear. I was wondering what supports the rear of the engine when I take the bolts out? Also I was wondering if anybody had any hints on putting in a rear seal. It seems pretty straight forward, just wanting to make sure. Thanks for any help.
