Well first off pull the cowel and the kick plate down by where your feet are Two bolts with 9/16th heads and start looking everything over and see what all is needed . On that tractor even the smallest amount of ware even on the headed pins means a lot of movement at the shifter . Not word to the wise here get the correct pins for the rod , yea i know ya can get the same pin from just about anywhere NOT. as the cotter pin hole will never be in the correct location BTDT . Look the shifter levers over and see how much ware is there and replace any parts needed . Don't just try and start adjusting this and that as then you will have one big mess.
