Probably not much to make, but you gotta remember that it costs a lot of our $$$ to ship our scrap iron to China so they can make the part, and then they have to ship it back to the US, which we will pay for. And don't forget that anyone who has their hands on the part or the scrap iron, or remotely handles any of the paperwork has to get a profit that is at least as much as it cost to make the part in the first place out of the deal. And then there are the rag-heads that gotta have lots of our $$$ for the oil that they ship over here so we can buy it to send our scrap to China in the first place. Oh, and don't forget that you have to move the oil back & forth in the US a time or two, before you can use it, & of course, anyone who has his hands on the oil or handles any of the paperwork has to get as much profit out of the deal as it cost to buy the oil from the rag-heads in the first place, etc., etc. No wonder it costs an arm and a leg.
