After reading the other responses and having some personal experience it seems that the best thing a guy can do is shed the donor vehicle under heavy lock and key or if it must stay outside leave as little fuel as possible in it and hope like he!! all they want/need is fuel. Doing anything else might bring on other retribution in tjhe form of vandalism or in the case of defending your property - fines, lawsuits and jail time. Sad, sad state of affairs we are in nowadays.
