Either one will be on the right side looking forward. Does the large wire to the center of the distributor cap come out of a round coil? If so, that would be battery ignition. If the wire comes out of a rectangular cap on a boxy looking affair, you have a magneto.
The push pull switch is different for the two. For coil ignition, it has two poles on the bottom, and the switch make and breaks the connection of the voltage to the coil. The switch for the magneto has only a single pole and grounds out the magneto when pushed down. A wire runs between the switch pole and a screw on the side of the magneto) to kill your engine when pushed down.
To make the two-pole switch work for a mag, you could run the wire from the mag to one pole of the switch, and run a wire from the other pole to a good ground. It'd work but it would work backwards, , i.e., down to run, up to stop.

Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
