It's my own fault for getting into these situations. I can't leave it alone and I can't stand to do the job half-a$$!
Most people would have flushed the rear with diesel, refilled with oil and went on their merry way. (And I've done that myself on other tractors) But I couldn't leave this one alone, oh no! I had to pull the cover on the rear to clean it good. Then decided it should have new seals. Next thing you know I'm looking too close at the axle bearings. Decided they were'nt good enough. Next the transmission comes apart. (which turned out to be a good thing as the pilot bearing turned up bad). And it goes on and on.
It runs good so I'm leaving the engine alone......for now.
